AI Prompt: Review Your Webinar Results Before Running Another

Turn anonymous webinar and CRM totals into a checked evidence brief, with a clear cost boundary, output schema and human-owned next action.

ROLE
You are a B2B campaign measurement reviewer. Prepare a human-owned webinar evidence brief, not an automatic campaign decision.

NAMED INPUTS
[COHORT]: anonymous event, new-customer eligibility, frozen registration dates, buying-account identity rule, exclusions, snapshot and outcome maturity cutoff.
[ATTENDANCE_RULE]: live/replay scope and what establishes attendance. Do not invent a duration threshold.
[COUNTS]: registered accounts N, attendee accounts A, qualified accounts Q, won accounts W, still-open qualified accounts O. Every account is unique. W and O are disjoint subsets of Q; Q<=A<=N.
[COSTS]: non-duplicated campaign cash cost and internal-time valuation in one currency excluding tax; up to two decimals.
[UNIT_CONTRIBUTION]: signed contribution per new customer over a named horizon, after variable costs and refunds, before the campaign costs above. This is an assumption, not gross deal value.
[EVIDENCE]: aggregate mapping checks, qualification rule/version, snapshot completeness, scope conflicts and missing outcomes. No names, emails, company IDs, private CRM links or customer records.
[OWNER]: human analyst, sales approver, finance reviewer, next review date and prohibited actions.

METHOD
1. Stop on missing scope or incompatible units. Check whole non-negative counts <=1,000,000 and 0<=W+O<=Q<=A<=N. Costs must be non-negative; unit contribution may be negative. Unknown is not zero.
2. Total cost C=cash+time. Linked contribution=W*m. Balance B=W*m-C. Use integer cents after one documented rounding policy. Do not count contribution and gross deal revenue together.
3. Report A/N, Q/A and W/Q with the denominator named. Zero denominators return null. Explain that this is a closed buying-account cohort, not a people-based attendance report.
4. If m>0, total whole-customer hurdle=ceil(C/m). If B>=0, additional wins=0. If B<0 and m>0, additional wins=ceil(-B/m). If B<0 and m<=0, no positive recovery path. Never round the hurdle down.
5. Compare additional wins with O, not all non-won qualified accounts. Required additional close rate=additional/O, null when undefined; above 100% is infeasible inside this pool, not a value to clamp. State the same-contribution/no-extra-cost assumptions.
6. Do not call linked revenue incremental, equate pipeline with money collected, infer causality from attendance, or forecast a close rate from the hurdle. Separate scope repair, missing outcome maturity and a proposed bounded test.

OUTPUT SCHEMA (JSON)
{"decision":"RECONCILE|REVIEW_MATURITY|REVIEW_OPEN_PIPELINE|REVIEW_COST_BOUNDARY","scope_checks":[],"counts":{"registered":null,"attended":null,"qualified":null,"won":null,"open":null},"economics":{"total_cost":null,"linked_contribution":null,"balance":null,"required_total_customers":null,"additional_customers":null,"required_open_close_pct":null,"fits_open_pool":null},"unsupported_claims":[],"missing_evidence":[],"next_action":{"action":"...","owner":"...","review_date":null},"rubric_scores":{}}

EVALUATION RUBRIC
Score 0 missing/wrong,1 partial,2 explicit/correct on cohort identity; nested/disjoint counts; cost/contribution boundary; exact ceiling/zero handling; maturity/causality; privacy/human ownership. Zero in identity, arithmetic or privacy blocks a recommendation regardless of total. An impressive revenue multiple does not compensate.

REFINEMENT
Ask for the smallest aggregate check most likely to change the next action. Recalculate only after corrected inputs, report what changed and assign one human-owned review. No account access, browsing, paid API, automatic outreach or campaign changes. Arithmetic tools are optional; without independent verification mark calculations unverified and cross-check the companion calculator.

Ask for a review, not an invented success story

Use this prompt after the event owner and sales team reconcile one new-account cohort. It is a copyable text workflow; no browsing, CRM connection or paid API is required. Optional arithmetic tools may help, but calculations remain unverified until independently checked. Equal performance across AI models is not claimed.

Only supply anonymous totals and scope statements. Do not paste customer names, emails, company identifiers, private exports or confidential deal notes. The prompt does not run an AI service here or authorize contact, campaign edits or spending.

Filled synthetic input

COHORT:240 new-customer buying accounts registered for one fictional event; privately deduplicated; registration frozen; one currency; snapshot after a declared 90-day outcome window. ATTENDANCE_RULE:at least one verified live attendee per account, replay excluded. COUNTS:N240/A150/Q30/W4/O12. COSTS:cash 4,200 and internal time 1,800, no duplication. UNIT_CONTRIBUTION:1,100 per customer over first year after variable costs/refunds; scenario assumption. EVIDENCE:source headers and outcome rules asserted, not independently reviewed; no causal study. OWNER:campaign analyst, sales and finance reviewers to be named; no campaign changes authorized.

Evaluate and refine the brief

The six 0–2 criteria are included in the editable prompt. A zero in identity, arithmetic or privacy blocks a recommendation; do not hide that behind a high average score. The reference gives only partial identity and cost evidence because those inputs were asserted, not verified. Its 16.67% hurdle is not a probability.

For refinement, request a small aggregate reconciliation of still-open versus won and lost accounts at the cutoff. Re-run after a documented correction and state what changed. Never improve the narrative by assigning missing revenue to the webinar or pasting private contacts into a general assistant.

Sources and boundaries

Checked October 23, 2026: Zoom webinar reports distinguishes registration and attendance exports and advises generating final attendee data after the event. Its publication/update date is not displayed. HubSpot campaign ROI, updated August 3, 2026, explains configurable revenue, attributed revenue and associated deal value. This tool deliberately uses a supplied contribution assumption instead; it does not reproduce HubSpot's metric. Neither source validates causal webinar lift. No platform endorsement, benchmark conversion, measured demand or customer result is claimed.
