Prepare one consistent budget boundary
Enter amounts in one currency with two decimal places at most. Budget is the approved envelope for the fixed period. Recorded spend is through the named cutoff. Commitments exclude anything already in spend. Reserve remains protected. Count remaining full eligible days and supply a uniform internal daily maximum backed by an operational decision.
This is a local planning tool. It does not connect to an ad account, consume AI audit credits or change budgets. Anonymous scope text is not sent in analytics events. Currencies without two minor-unit decimals require a different implementation; do not imply automatic currency conversion.
Formulas, units and rounding
All calculations use integer hundredths. Let B=budget, S=recorded spend, C=unrecorded commitments, R=reserve, n=remaining eligible days and d=internal day maximum. Signed headroom H=B−S−C−R. Available A=max(0, H); shortfall=max(0,−H). Capacity K=n×d. Illustrative allocation P=min(A, K). Unallocated headroom U=A−P. Required daily pace=A/n, undefined when n=0.
The illustrative plan divides P by n in integer hundredths: each slot gets floor(P/n), with one extra hundredth in the first P mod n slots. The plan sums exactly to P and never exceeds the supplied uniform cap. Slot order is an explicit rounding convention, not an optimized auction schedule. Displayed required pace is rounded; exported requiredPerDay retains the fractional-hundredths average.
Known-answer examples
With 10,000 budget,3,200 recorded,800 committed and 1,000 reserve, headroom=5,000. Ten days at 400 capacity each yield 4,000 allocation and 1,000 unallocated. Required pace 500 exceeds the cap 400. Status CAPACITY_CONSTRAINED means the stated headroom cannot all fit; it is not an instruction to increase spend.
With budget 0.05 and all deductions 0, three days and cap 0.02 yield a0.02,0.02,0.01 plan. With no active days, allocation is 0 and required pace is undefined. If deductions exceed budget, the shortfall remains visible and allocation is 0. Recorded overspend is reported separately as max(0, S−B).
What this result cannot decide
Fit within the envelope is not evidence of profitability, marginal demand, delivery or permission. Google Ads average daily budgets and billing limits are different concepts. Do not paste this tool's day allocation directly into a platform setting. Verify actual campaign type, schedule, mid-period budget history and billing basis.
Amounts accept 0–1,000,000 and days 0–366. These bounds keep integer arithmetic exact; they are not business benchmarks. Editing any field clears previous results. Reset restores the synthetic example. JSON copy/download preserves inputs, scope, method, units and every numbered allocation slot.
