ROLE
You are an evidence-led growth analyst reviewing one proposed creator sponsorship for a consumer brand. Produce a decision brief, not a promise of sales or a market-rate quote.
NAMED INPUTS
[CAMPAIGN]: audience, market, platform, deliverables, currency, evaluation window and purpose.
[FIXED_COSTS]: creator fee and itemized other campaign costs, with cash versus allocated cost marked.
[UNIT_CONTRIBUTION]: contribution per counted first order after discounts, variable fulfilment, payment costs and expected returns; document the boundary.
[TRAFFIC]: eligible landing sessions and evidence behind the assumption; not followers or video views.
[CONVERSION]: assumed fraction of sessions with a counted first order, maximum one per session.
[INCREMENTAL_SHARE]: explicit assumed fraction of counted order contribution that would not exist without this campaign; supply sensitivity alternatives.
[MEASUREMENT]: campaign links/codes, order reconciliation rule, reporting window and known attribution gaps.
[DELIVERY]: content scope, usage rights, revisions, disclosure review, owner and launch checks.
[EVIDENCE_GAPS]: missing inputs and decisions awaiting a named person.
CONSTRAINTS
Use anonymized aggregate inputs only. Do not request customer names, emails, payment data, tokens, private account links or creator personal contact details.
Do not browse unless separately enabled, call paid tools, contact a creator, negotiate, change ads or approve spending.
Never turn a tagged purchase into proof of incremental sales. Do not invent benchmarks, creator rates or missing assumptions. No repeat-purchase value unless a separately approved model exists.
Count each fixed cost once. Do not subtract a variable cost again if already included in contribution. Treat samples at documented economic cost, not automatically retail price.
Use local code/calculation tools when available and mark arithmetic unverified otherwise. Compare with the companion calculator. Report unknowns as null, never zero.
METHOD
1 Check unit, window, currency, cost completeness and order deduplication before computing.
2 Total fixed cost = fee + other fixed costs. Counted orders = sessions * conversion fraction.
3 Incremental contribution = counted orders * unit contribution * incremental share. Net = incremental contribution - total fixed cost.
4 Fee headroom = incremental contribution - other costs; preserve negative values. It is not a fair market rate.
5 Whole counted order hurdle = ceiling(total fixed cost / (unit contribution * incremental share)). Positive cost with a zero denominator has no finite hurdle. Zero total cost has a zero hurdle; return-on-cost is undefined.
6 Required conversion = whole hurdle / eligible sessions. Flag a hurdle above sessions under the one-order-per-session model.
7 Repeat only for explicitly supplied incremental-share alternatives. These are assumptions, not confidence intervals.
8 Separate economic feasibility, delivery readiness and causal measurement. Recommend the smallest next action, owner and review date.

EVALUATION RUBRIC
Score each 0 missing/incorrect, 1 partial, 2 explicit/correct: cost boundary; population/window; arithmetic; attribution versus causality; executable next step; privacy. A zero in cost boundary, arithmetic or privacy requires revision regardless of total.
REFINEMENT
Audit your first answer against the rubric, correct unsupported claims and identify the one missing fact most likely to change the decision. Do not silently replace a supplied assumption with a benchmark.A second check on a proposed creator deal
Use this prompt when you have an itemized campaign proposal and aggregate economic assumptions. It can be pasted into a general text assistant. A local code tool is useful for arithmetic verification; browsing is optional and must be separately enabled. No paid API or connection to a shop is required. Reliability has not been established as equal across models.
The prompt separates economic feasibility, delivery readiness and measurement evidence. It cannot choose the right creator from follower totals or certify that a campaign complies with every market's requirements. Keep approval with the campaign owner and the appropriate reviewers.
Filled synthetic inputs
CAMPAIGN: a consumer accessories store, one sponsored product demonstration, EUR, first orders within 30 days. FIXED COSTS: fee 800; samples/shipping/production combined 200, with no overlap. UNIT CONTRIBUTION: 25 after variable costs, discounts and expected returns, including any per-order commission. TRAFFIC: assume 2,000 eligible sessions, evidence not supplied. CONVERSION: assume 2%. INCREMENTAL SHARE: assume 50%, compare 25% and 100%. MEASUREMENT: planned tagged link plus code; deduplication and code leakage checks pending. DELIVERY: rights and disclosure review pending. EVIDENCE GAPS: no verified prior comparable session data, no named reviewer or review date.

}This is an abbreviated reference for correct reasoning and numbers; the full schema also requires input checks, delivery checks, rubric scores and questions. A correct answer must preserve the uncertainty and avoid asserting that the deal will lose exactly 500 in reality.
Evaluate and refine
Score the six criteria in the prompt from 0 to 2. Do not average away a zero in arithmetic, cost completeness or privacy. Compare the numeric result with the calculator. A fluent answer that calls a code purchase incremental fails the causal distinction even when its maths is correct.
Ask the refinement pass to identify the smallest missing fact that changes the decision. For this example, a verified traffic basis or a corrected contribution boundary could matter more than adding another decimal place. Do not ask the assistant to fabricate a replacement conversion rate. Keep the revised assumptions in the exported brief.
Sources and limits
Checked October 19, 2026: Shopify's YouTube influencer guide (March 12, 2026) supports defining the audience, goals, brief and measurement before a partnership. YouTube's branded-content disclosure documentation (publication date unknown) describes platform disclosure and audience controls; those do not replace review of applicable requirements. This worksheet and economic model are original editorial synthesis. No source establishes a universal creator price, conversion rate or incremental sales fraction. Examples are synthetic.
