What is counted

The tool counts the current outcomes in one frozen, mutually exclusive test plan. It does not test your tags. Keep individual case evidence and severity outside the calculator.

Formulas

Planned = passed + failed + blocked + not tested. Executed = passed + failed. Executed coverage = executed ÷ planned. Pass share = passed ÷ executed. A zero denominator is unavailable, not zero per cent. Each input is a non-negative whole count and each planned case must appear once.

Synthetic example

Seven passed, two failed, one blocked and two untested gives 12 planned and nine executed: 75% coverage and 77.8% passed among executed. Three remain blocked or untested. Use the worksheet for case evidence and the prompt for an optional human-checked handoff.

Limits

Different plans, versions or routes are not automatically comparable. A percentage can hide a critical failure. This is not a consent rate, an estimate of missed conversions or proof of legal compliance.

Sources and limits

Checked 4 November 2026: Google's consent mode overview explains consent states and basic and advanced implementations. Its verification guide describes inspecting default states, updates and tag behaviour. The UK ICO's consent-management guidance discusses user choices and their presentation. This original QA method does not decide which legal rules apply or certify a site.
