Conversion & Retention Sprint

Make one important customer journey work better.

For teams with an identifiable point of friction and the capacity to act. Scope one conversion or lifecycle intervention, establish how to evaluate it, and leave with a documented decision.

Choose one point of friction

For ecommerce, the starting point might be a checkout step or repeat-purchase journey. For an app, it might be activation or failed-payment recovery. For a B2B team, it could be the route from enquiry to a qualified conversation. The sprint focuses on one agreed journey rather than redesigning every channel.

This works best when someone can approve and implement changes. If the bottleneck is still unclear or tracking is unreliable, start with a diagnostic. Low traffic changes the evaluation method; it does not justify declaring an A/B-test winner from a handful of conversions.

    What the sprint delivers

    • A focused intervention brief: the friction, hypothesis, eligible audience and intended outcome.
    • A measurement and guardrail plan, including what would make us stop or revise.
    • Implementation support within the agreed scope and delivery responsibilities.
    • A decision log and handover: what changed, what was observed, limitations and next steps.

    What your team brings

Bring the journey, existing funnel or cohort evidence, access constraints and the person responsible for implementation. We establish who owns copy, design, engineering and approval. A sprint cannot replace missing product or engineering capacity without an explicitly agreed delivery scope.

How a focused sprint might work

Illustrative scope: customers abandon checkout when delivery costs appear. Review the evidence, make the delivery promise clearer at the relevant step, verify the implementation and evaluate completion alongside contribution and support issues. An increase in clicks alone is not success. This is a sample approach, not a claim of a new client outcome.

        Agree delivery and evaluation separately

The proposal defines the intervention, included implementation work, fee, dependencies and delivery milestones. The observation period is agreed separately: customer volume and buying cycles determine when evidence is useful. An inconclusive result is documented honestly.

A full-site rebuild, unlimited creative production, ongoing media management and additional software costs are outside the default scope. Revenue or conversion lifts are not guaranteed. Ongoing leadership can be discussed after the focused work.
